ISLAMABAD (APP) - Advisor to the Prime Minister on Women Development Yasmeen Rehman has been elected as the Chairperson Pakistan Furniture Company (PFC) after meeting of the members of its board today in Lahore. Yasmeen Rehman was elected unanimously and unopposedly by all members of the board of the Pakistan Furniture Company which is registered under the Companies Ordinance, said a news release issued here. She is the first lady in the country who is elevated to such a higher and responsible post. The members of the board, participants from the Ministry of Industry, SEMDA and private sector attended the meeting. Earlier, Yasmeen Rehman was appointed as the member of the board of the same company by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani.
