Vehari  - A police constable has been arrested and charged for making a threatening telephone call to Interior Ministry. According to DPO Vehari, police have confirmed that the police constable was traced for making the threatening call and has been arrested. DPO Shakir Ali said that the constable Tariq Mehmood has also confessed to his crime after which case has been registered against him at Model Town, Burewala police station under the telegraph act.The accused in his statement said that in a bid to trap another constable he had activated a mobile SIM on his colleague’s name but he was traced for using his own mobile phone.
