JHANG (INP) - Minister of State and PML-Q MNA Shaikh Waqas Akram has disclosed that his entry into the United States has been banned for his support to Mumtaz Qadri, assassin of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer. Speaking at a reception given in his honour at Jamia Masjid Old Eidgah here on Saturday, Waqas said he had raised his voice in support of Mumtaz Qadri in the National Assembly and in return restrictions were imposed on him in America. He said if raising voice in support of lovers of the Holy Prophet was extremism, he was ready to accept this crime. The minister of state said he had torn apart the US visa three years back in protest against drone attacks. He said his success in election was due to support of Ahle Sunnat Brailvi Ittehad which had been formed for peace in Jhang city and there was no political future of his opponent.
