FAISALABAD - The committee set up to raise anti-dengue awareness has intensified its efforts to educate the masses about preventive measure.As per detail, the Punjab Medical College (PMC) Principal has constituted a committee to expedite anti-dengue awareness campaign. In this regard a meeting of the committee was held here at UAF to review the progress with its Chairman Dr M Jalal Arif in the chair.The committee decided to organised a two-day international anti-dengue awareness conference at Punjab Medical College Auditorium from September 24, 2012. The committee nominated PMC Assistant Prof Dr Humaira Arshad as member of the committee and directed her to visit women educational institutions across the district to on board the women in the fight against dengue. The committee emphasized to seek some patronage from industrialists to create awareness among the masses. Deputy Director Public Relations Subhan Ali, Dr Muhammad Anwar Sulaheri, Dr Khurram Sohail Raja and Muhammad Hanif Chaudhry also participated in the meeting.
