City receives scattered drizzle

LAHORE The City received scattered drizzle on Sunday with experts predicting cloudy weather and more rains on Monday. Scattered rains and snowfall over the hills in upper parts of the country, cloudy weather and continuously blowing winds caused decrease in the maximum temperature, bringing chill in weather during the daytime over plains including the City. On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 22.7 degree Celsius and 9.5 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 89 percent which decreased to 73 percent in the evening. According to the experts, westerly wave still persists over upper parts of the country. Local meteorological department has forecast scattered rain of light to moderate intensity with snowfall over the hills for Khyber PK, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Scattered rainfall is also expected at upper and central Punjab.
